Sonia Mackwani
Sonia Mackwani is a writer, therapist, filmmaker, and social entrepreneur living between India and Switzerland. She is the founder of Touching Lives (est. 2003), a nonprofit working in education, mental health, art, and community development in India. Trained in Clinical Psychology and Hypnotherapy, Sonia blends psychotherapy with alternative healing modalities, energy work, systemic awareness, and creative expression.
She is the creator of the Self-Work Approach and runs the School of Self-Work, a quiet online community offering courses on alternative healing modalities. She is a channel of Master Reconnection, an initiation for 8th sense. As an author, she writes fiction and non-fiction for children and adults, including Everyone Can Heal and 365 Days of a Sufi and others. Sonia is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened internationally. As an impact producer and strategist, she supports filmmakers and changemakers in carrying stories from cinema into communities, grassroots spaces, and real-world alignment.
