I’m excited to have your support promoting this kind, valuable and unique event for folks who love writing and are seeking support on their healing journeys.
Healing Through Writing is a 4-day virtual event that will help participants explore what healing means to them, and how to use writing as part of their healing process.
It’s designed to show them what's possible when they expand their ideas of what healing is to include the wisdom of their bodies, their stories and their creativity, through writing.

I know that things like online festivals, summits and bundles aren't always the most smooth or beneficial experiences, but your experience is my top priority here.
I’m no stranger to gathering people and hosting conversations and workshops.
I’ve hosted this festival anually since 2023 with great success (average 2,700+ registrants) and I’ve worked and volunteered for in-person storytelling, music and film festivals, run artist residency programs, retreats, and I was an invited cohost of ProWritingAid’s How to Write Creative Nonfiction With Courage online conference January of 2023.
I’ve also hosted 100+ conversations on my podcasts.

How it’ll all work
Let’s get into details. Here’s how Healing Through Writing will work:
The event will run from April 14th - 17th.
Leading up to the summit, we’ll have about two weeks of promotion (March 31 - April 14).
I’ll provide swipe copy and graphics to make it all easy. As an affiliate, how much, and how, you promote is entirely up to you, but if you’re not sure, there’ll be guidelines and swipe files in the Resource Vault to make it super easy.
I recommend at least one email to your list, one or two ‘PS’ notes in your newsletter, and if you use social media, a share or two. However, it’s really up to your goals with affiliate commissions, how you’d like to support the speakers’ visibility and this beautiful event.

During the promotion phase (starting March 31st) and as the festival is running (April 14-17), we’ll promote the festival’s All Access Pass. This includes the replays, notes and action steps for each presentation, extra live sessions, and any additional bonuses that are included.
This will provide wonderful value and additional healing and writing support to attendees, while making the work of promoting worthwhile by helping you to bring in affiliate commissions. Win win :-)
After the festival, I’ll offer my transformational memoir-writing course, The Art of Personal Mythmaking, to attendees who have shown interest. You’ll earn a $300 USD commission on any sales from attendees you’ve referred to the Festival that sign up.
(If you want to promote but don’t want to be an affiliate (it happens), that’s super nice. And, I’m also happy to donate that affiliate $$ to a charity/cause of your choice if you’d like to - just lmk). The charity I’m donating to for this Festival is the Canadian Indian and Residential School Survivors Society.
1. HEALING THROUGH WRITING FESTIVAL ALL ACCESS PASS CONTRIBUTION
The All Access Pass will be a value-packed addition to the presentations, and as well as longterm access to the presentation and workshop recordings, it will include bonuses such as:

The power of a virtual event comes from a group of experts coming together for a single cause. The joint promotion that happens because of that is a huge benefit to everyone involved.
You’ll want to share using your affiliate link so you’re credited the 50% commission that will come from any sale of the festival upgrades (the All Access Passes) and the additional commissions that come from purchase of my transformational memoir-writing course, The Art of Personal Mythmaking, after the festival.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT edit the affiliate link ThriveCart gives you or update to the prettier version of the link you get by pasting it into your browser and hitting enter. Anything other than the link given will not track your referrals. However, you can create a pretty link that leads to the original link given by ThriveCart with something like the Pretty Links plugin or bit.ly.

The commission structure is as follows:

$65 for three hours after initial opt-in
$85 from March 31st - April 14th
$155 from April 15th - 19th
To make it as easy as possible for you to share (and generate extra income), the Resource Vault includes things like email swipe copy, social media copy, and social share graphics. However, you’re more than welcome to write your own copy and even run your own ads. On average, the kind of online event/summit process I’m following has offers that convert at between 8-20% (well above the industry average).
I’m also willing to take over your Instagram stories, do a podcast interview, write a guest newsletter, or do a live in your online group (all with your affiliate link) to help you get some extra signups!
Just remember to use your affiliate link, which you can create or look up here. (Again, do not use anything other than the link ThriveCart gives you.)
Payouts for sales referred will be made on May 20th.
As with all affiliate promotions, be sure to disclose that you’re an affiliate when sharing with your audience. This can be as simple as writing “I receive a commission on any All Access Pass sales (but the festival is free!) and I only promote the work I believe in.”
